Her email popped into my inbox while I was in the middle of answering 1513
emails that had spilled over from the previous week.
Here's what she said:
"Elisha, See what I mean? I just got this from a recent job application. I am going to pray alright but right now I feel like I am at the end of my rope..."[Fwd: Letter of rejection from an executive recruitment agency] ...

My response was immediate (and almost brutal).
WARNING:
What I said might sound rather tough
but there's a method to my madness...
"Beloved Sister Fiona,
No problem. Keep praying and keep applying to even MORE jobs. The more they reject you the bigger your testimony will be.
I have walked in your shoes. Let me give you a personal example --
Few months ago (in July 2013) I, elisha goodman applied for something VERY important to me and my family and was rejected 4 times!
YES, I was rejected 4 times.
But then the Holy Spirit led me to pray like this:'Covenant keeping God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, in the places where they have rejected me, cause them to call me back and fall over themselves to help me in Jesus' name.'
I didn't stop there.
August 1st I embarked on the Golden Journey, along with everyone else in our 24-hour blog.
Within days two of those places called me back!Two weeks later the contract was signed, sealed and delivered.
Those who knew about it are still shell-shocked at the way the Lord intervened for us.
He will do the same for you if you refuse to quit. God bless you."

The Holy Spirit moved me to send this answer to everyone on my subscriber list (that's another story entirely - but I'm going to show you a sneak peek in a minute) ...
Meanwhile, I did not hear from this sister again. For a while.
Then suddenly,
out of the blue ...
6 Months Later...
She Came Back With A Little Confession
Her latest email caught my attention as I was busy answering 789 emails that had been sitting unopened in my coaching email box for two and a half weeks.

I got the job elisha! Remember I wrote sometime back to say how frustrated I was in the job market with all the rejects? You said I should keep applying. I wanted to wring your neck, thank God you are thousands of miles away! Anyway I repeated the Prayer Academy and kept up also with the various prayer bullets you have been sending. I am so happy elisha, giddy with excitement. I am very thankful to the Lord I cannot wait to start. And thank you too elisha for encouraging me all the time. I wanted to give up so many times but you would not let

My response to her was so unsettling she felt like strangling me!
I totally understand.
Because my advice is not the politically-correct, run-of-the-mill stuff you get all over the place.
Thank God for
that.
Please don't get me wrong
I'd love to send you nice, flowing prayers that sound very poetic and politically correct.
I'd like to pat you on the back, give you a hug and tell you that everything is OK. But that wouldn't get us the results you are seeing on this site.
The ONE who commissioned me has given us a very specific mandate.
He has empowered us to put the devil to shame... and show you step by simple step how to confront your stubborn problems... and win.
By viciously slashing away at their foundations, altars and gates till you experience all-round victory and breakthroughs that last and last and last.
NOT the type that is here today, gone tomorrow.
Our prayers are targeted at ... slicing, dicing and dissecting the problems from the root (spiritually speaking).
Then these problems are systematically uprooted, set on fire and destroyed...
- entire generational carryovers of poverty, infirmity, and diverse afflictions are brutally murdered...
- while your divine destiny is resurrected STRONGER than ever.
As real breakthroughs are recorded daily through TAKE BACK prayer... marriages are radically changed… debts are cancelled... destinies are bullet-proofed.
And, lots of brand new blessings are rolling in... for those who choose to press forward, in spite of attacks and discouragement from the camp of the enemy..
It can be exhausting at times, I admit.
But also miracle-releasing.
So I can understand why this sister felt like throttling me ... for giving her that destiny-changing prayer!
Truth be told, what I have been given to share is really not for the faint of heart.
It is for those who are tired of being pushed around, stolen from, misused, and abused by the devil and his cohorts.
Many believers you meet have been born again for decades and no one ever sat them down to teach them these basics.
What a great disservice to the Body of Christ!
Listen to this (I hear it all the time):
All of my life I have sat under various teachings of men and women of God who have taught me many biblical and spiritual things. NOT ONE OF THESE PEOPLE EVER THOUGHT TO TEACH ME TO PRAY. EVER. Since I finally enrolled in the Prayer Academy I am finally able to truly serve God!

After smashing out my not-so-gentle response to Fiona, the Holy Spirit then moved me to send the exact same prayer to everyone on my subscriber list ...
... because thousands of God's children are suffering from one form of rejection or another.
- Rejection from family
and loved ones
- Rejection from bosses / colleagues at work
- Even rejection from their spouses (or would-be spouses)
Within 24 hours of sending that email, the results started coming in...
Here's the VERY
first one:

I just wanna thank God for
the greatness He has done for me this week.
I have been applying for
jobs ever since last year May to no avail. I was rejected
from so many jobs - up to 30, yes I say 30 jobs. I was so
frustrated, depressed and feeling worthless. I kept on
doing courses in the hope that I will get a job, but
nothing.
I wanted to give up on
God but my
mind would say "who will you rely on except God"
and this voice encouraged me to trust in the Lord though it
was hard. In the last month, August I applied for 3 posts
and was rejected one post.
The rejection letter
stated that I have most of the
essential criteria but I don't have experience. I was so
angry and got my phone, and asked why don't I be given a
chance to at least be interviewed since I have the package
but not experience?
The lady told me that the post needed someone who has the experience and that's how it is. I asked her if it also means that I won't be given a chance with the other two posts. She said yes because I don't have experience. I was deeply hurt but trusted in the Lord. On the early Monday at 0105 am - 09/09/2013 Elisha you sent me an email which had the below prayer:
'Covenant keeping God of Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob, in the places where they have rejected me,
cause them to call me back and fall over themselves to help
me in Jesus' name.'
I
prayed it two times and went to sleep just to be woken up
by a call at 0905 am -09/09/13 from the offices I was told
I won't be given a chance because of no
experience.
The call said I was to come for an interview on the 11/09/13. I went for an interview yesterday and after an hour I was told I was successful.
You know I
can't stop smiling......I am so amazed by God's power. I
can now say that trust, persistence, patience and faith in
the Lord Jesus all pay up at His right time. Right now I
can't stop thanking him. And ask God to
continue using you to strengthen lives.

Praise the LORD.
I can assure you of one thing
If you fail to LEARN how to pray your way into breakthroughs, no one else is going to do it for you.
Please never listen to anyone who tries to convince you otherwise.
Whatever your present situation today, there is a way out.
You can rise above it. There's a prayer for getting where the LORD wants you to go.
This is TAKE BACK time.
You must determine NOT to leave your divine benefits in the warehouse of the enemy.

Sometime in March, I asked a friend if they are not hiring. He said there might be a post to be filled by April. I got lazy to apply only to apply when he told me the interviews will be held that very same week! I emailed my CV and the following day I sent a hard copy. During this period I prayed: “Covenant keeping God of Abraham…..” Trust me this is the most powerful prayer ever!! Same day, I received a call inviting me for interview. Not only that, I was even forwarded a job profile. Not only that, I was to be interviewed for a better position. Not the one I applied for!! I will be supervising the position I initially applied for. 2 weeks later I was called to take my offer letter, which was very attractive.
