You are in a good place. All you need to do is make sure this does not happen at all. What happens is that once a person has the experience of a failed relationship, a spiritual and mental roadblock goes up, and anytime there's a new relationship on the horizon, all the past, painful memories come flooding back ... to hinder and cast an evil shadow on even a promising relationship.

Prayer Point: I stand against every spirit of failed relationships in my future in the name of Jesus.

The moment you experience a failed relationship, especially one that looked very promising, immediately this opens the door of your life to a very dangerous spirit called the "spirit of Pisgah." Some people refer to it as the "spirit of failure at the edge of breakthroughs." 

Why?

Because it makes people to fail just before they reach their Promised Land. At this point what you should do is release yourself from the grip of this spirit through aggressive prayer. Ask the Lord to help you shut the door of your life so it will no longer have access.

Prayer Point: I release myself from the grip of the spirit of failure at the edge of breakthroughs in Jesus' name.

If this happens all the time in your life, you need to realize that there is a stronghold that needs to be destroyed. What causes this is what is known as the "spirit of Pisgah," so called because in the Bible when the children of Israel were at the edge of the Promised Land, at a place called Pisgah, they disobeyed God and got into trouble. As a result they were sentenced to wander in the desert for 40 years!

So some people refer to this spirit as the "spirit of Pisgah". Once a person is under it's attack, she will be failing at the edge of her breakthroughs. In fact, she might be only a few days away from her wedding day when suddenly something goes terribly wrong and everything has to be cancelled.

If you or anyone you know has been going through this over and over again, she needs to get into a sustained prayer and fasting program to kick this thing out and restore what has been lost.

Prayer Point: Every stronghold of automatic failure raised up against my marriage, be destroyed by the power in the blood of Jesus.

You are one of the favoured few. Except for people who are getting ZERO marriage proposals, only very few people are in a position to give this answer.

What you should be doing now is pray proactively starting today to ensure that when the time comes, the LORD will confirm the wedding date to both of you, without a shadow of doubt.

Prayer Point: O Lord, help us to know your mind concerning our future wedding date in Jesus' name.

This is because good things that the Lord has been sending your way are being "swallowed" in the spirit realm before they have a chance to get to you. That's why finances seem to dry up suddenly. Prayer Point: I decree that the key of my marital breakthrough be released to me by fire in Jesus' name.

Note: This is the prayer point I told one sister to take at the midnight hour, every night for 7 days. The results were nothing short of spectacular.

Please put on your “thick skin” because I'm about to verbally beat you up a little bit!

I think it's a mistake to have so few Scriptures to work with. If you don't know what God has to say about your marriage (to the chapter and verse) , you rob yourself of much of the key information you need to gain victory in this area.

Why do you need to commit these Scriptures to memory? Because in the spirit real, the amount of God's Word that you can draw on in moments of emergency, the stronger and more powerful you are.

Now if you also learn how to convert those Scriptures into prayer points that you can fire off even in the dream, your marital hopes and dreams will soon become a reality.

I personally think it is a disgrace for a believer not to know at least 12 Scriptures, chapter and verse, concerning anything they are asking the Lord for. When I was in prophetic school, the absolute minimum was 52.

I said 52 Scripture!

This does NOT count whole passages like the life-support Psalm 91, Romans 8, etc.

Prayer Point: O Lord, make me a student of your Word in Jesus' name.

At 2 - 10 Scripture verses, you are still at the low end of the spectrum. The implication would be loss of blessings, delayed miracles and even lack of favor and anointing.

This is a very serious matter. You need a deep reservoir of the Word of God that you can draw on when you are confronted with amputators (who abort miracles) in the dream and in the physical.

You will need to wake up. There are hundreds of Scriptures that show that God thinks "It is not good for a man to be alone>' But you have to search out those verses and apply them to your life through prayer BEFORE that Word can be made manifest in the physical as your godly spouse ... and a blissful marriage.

Prayer Point: O Lord, make me addicted to your Word and prayer in Jesus' name.

Congratulations! You are on the right track. You desire should be to build up your WORD base to something like 52 key scriptures over time.

Please don't think this is impossible to do. Remember as a kid, how we used to memorize things? You have the capacity within you to do this, even now. Age has nothing to do with it. Our old Pentecostal fathers used to memorize the entire book of the Psalms and many others. Once you start it will become easier and easier.

As I said, you are already on the right path. Just redouble your efforts, knowing that this is helping to build up your spiritual muscle. You will need this even more in your marriage, because the fiercest spiritual battles are being fought in the home front!

Prayer Point: O Lord, ignite your fire of revival in my life in Jesus' mighty name.

This is the ideal situation. I wish more people will be in a position to give this answer. Unfortunately 90% of Christian singles I meet cannot answer like this. Because there's something in the spiritual realm that is assigned to swallow finances once a marriage proposal is made.

You need to be alert and prayerful so it doesn't have a foothold in your life.

Prayer Point: I reject and resist every thing assigned to swallow good things in my life in Jesus' name.

The powers of the "emptiers" have just gained a foothold in your life through this one experience. You need to kick them out spiritually through focused prayer and fasting.

Why?

Because their assignment is to frustrate your marital plans and put so much stress on the relationship in an attempt to force either one or both of the partners to give up in discouragement.

What you do is: You arm yourself with the relevant scriptures and begin a midnight watch to release your marriage from the camp of the emptiers.

Prayer Point: I release the earthquake and the whirlwind of God on the camp of all the enemies of my marriage in Jesus' name.

Please Note: Anytime you see me talking about enemies, I am NOT referring to human beings. I am talking about spiritual entities who are as real as physical entities. They are the ones we target through our prayers. If you don't know they exist, ask the Lord to open your spiritual eyes ... then you'll be singing a different tune. Never mind what  "the blind leading  the blind" are saying.

Well, I have some news for you ... and it is not so good. But I am going to tell you what to do about it ... stay with me for a second.

The enemy has managed to plant a spiritual monitoring device in your life. What this device does is to stay there and watch for anytime good things are about to happen in your life. Then they simply report you to external enemies who summon the foot soldiers to come in and abort this miracles before they even get to you. In many cases they just ambush your angel of blessings and make accusations that disqualify you from getting the blessings.

What I am talking about here is very deep and serious. Someone wrote to me saying she had a dream where she saw a serpent entering into her body and she was powerless to get it out. many people have had similar experiences.

As long as evil things are hiding in your life, they will trigger trouble and disaster anytime good things are coming to you.  I am going to be explaining how to handle this in detail in the Eagle Singles' Forum, opening shortly.

Prayer Point: Evil spiritual trigger, come out of my life and enter no more in Jesus' name.

You're in an OK place if all you do is pay your tithes, give offerings and sow seeds. That is if you are seeing any results.

And that is a big IF.

But if you'd like to meet and know your God-ordained spouse in the shortest possible time, or ensure that the enemy does not steal the honey of your marriage (if you are planning to get married)...

Then you're going to have to find resources to help you nourish your spirit amn and help you build your spiritual muscles through a structured program of prayer and fasting exercises. To get you ready for what lies ahead.

Because for you to navigate the relationship and marriage minefield successfully requires a specialized set of spiritual skills.

I am not going to sugar coat anything for you here. If you spend more 10 times more money on cosmetics, lipsticks, etc. in an erroneous desire to attract your godly spouse, but you have NEVER bothered to invest in the kind of resources (books, tapes, newsletters) that will strengthen and beautify you in the spirit realm, then I think you've got it all backward.

And you should not blame God or anyone if things don't work out in your relationships.  I know a sister who spends more on lipsticks in one month than she had ever spent on spiritual materials all her life.

Because she was taught to believe that everything spiritual should be free.

But after spending $9 to subscribe to a newsletter as I advised, her life shifted gear immediately and her relationship blossomed into a happy marriage.

So if you plan on “shifting gears” into the realm of the miraculous, then hold on. It's an exhilarating ride!

Wonderful. All you have to do is keep the flag flying and this great legacy alive. Find out what they did right and learn from them. Do not listen to so-called experts who have nothing to show for it ... in their relationship and marriage.

Fortify yourself with the Word of God and prayer and go forth. And make sure you don't walk into any trap of the devil with your own two feet.

Prayer Point: Every trap set for me by the enemy of my destiny, begin to catch your owner in Jesus' name

There's a generational evil river flowing against your life. You have to cut it off and stop it's activities from affecting you. It is usually secured in place by an ancient covenant and you need to come with the superior covenant of the blood of Christ to break and cancel its effect on your life and destiny.

Prayer Point: Any evil river flowing into my life, be cut off by the blood of Jesus.

If you're planning to get married anytime soon (and stay in that marriage), there are a few things you should keep in mind.

First, you may have to pray and destroy an ancient altar of marriage destruction raised up against your family line.

Second, you have to release yourself from the "collective captivity" of household witchcraft  which is operating against the life of every member of the family.

Therd, You need to ensure that you place yourself securely under the covenant umbrella of Jesus Christ, from who all blessings flow.
